A huge shout-out to Mia L. for cashing in one of our favorite auction items, "Silly String Mrs. McDonald!" 🎉🎉

Yesterday, Mia got the chance to cover Mrs. McDonald in silly string while students gathered around, cheering her on every step of the way. The excitement, laughter, and smiles from everyone made it a moment to remember!

Thank you, Mrs. McDonald, for being such a great sport and helping create a fun memory for our students. And congratulations to Mia for making the most of this one-of-a-kind auction experience!

It was an absolute blast and a perfect reminder of how much fun our school community has together. 💙💛

🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓🎓

It's hard to believe the day is finally here.

Tonight, our 8th graders will gather in our freshly painted church for the last time as a class. Tonight is graduation; tonight we celebrate a milestone that once felt so far away. For many of our 8th graders, SBS has been more than a school. It's been a second home, a place where they grew up, made lifelong friends, learned valuable lessons, and created memories they'll carry with them for years to come.

As we reflect on their time with us at SBS, we pray they remember the teachers who cheered them on, challenged them, and cared for them every step of the way. We hope they remember the basketball games, pep rallies, field days, Christmas concerts, four square matches at recess, field trips, classroom laughs, and all the little moments in between that made their time at SBS so special.

Over the years, they've learned, grown, stumbled, succeeded, laughed, and supported one another through it all. They've left their mark on SBS, and SBS has left its mark on them.

As they begin this next chapter, we want them to know how proud we are. While their time as SBS students is coming to an end, they will always be part of our school family.

Once a Knight, always a Knight. 💙⚔️

Congratulations, Class of 2026. We are grateful to have been part of your journey, and we can't wait to see all the wonderful things ahead for each of you.

🍕First Grade Pizza Party Celebration! 🍕

What a wonderful way to wrap up the year! Our first graders enjoyed a special pizza party today to celebrate all their hard work—and to say a BIG thank you to their amazing 8th grade buddies!

Our 8th graders have been such incredible role models all year long—helping, encouraging, reading together, and being such positive examples of kindness and leadership. The bond they’ve built is truly something special!
