In addition to our rigorous Early Childhood, Elementary, and Middle School curriculum, it is our faith that is reflected in everything we do. Along with daily prayer, our religious education program includes monthly celebrations of the Sacred Liturgy, Sacramental preparation, Lenten and Advent programs, and formal classroom instruction on our faith. This comprehensive approach ensures that students of all ages grow academically and spiritually, fostering a strong foundation in both knowledge and values.
Faith extends beyond religious instruction and into the way our students learn, serve, and interact with one another each day. Through meaningful traditions, opportunities for service, and shared experiences as a school community, students are encouraged to practice compassion, kindness, respect, and responsibility while developing a deeper understanding of what it means to live their Catholic faith.
At Saint Bridget School, prayer is an integral part of our daily routine, fostering a strong sense of community and faith. Each day begins with a schoolwide prayer and pledge, and every school assembly or meeting opens with prayer. Students come together for group prayer at the start, as well as before and after lunch. We also provide opportunities for students to offer special prayer intentions through classroom prayers, our prayer wall, and the parish prayer book. Many classrooms regularly pray the rosary, helping students grow in their spiritual journey. This variety of prayer practices creates meaningful connections, allowing students to reflect, support one another, and strengthen their faith.
At Saint Bridget School, we foster a strong sense of community and faith through our monthly school liturgies for students in grades K-8. Each month, a different grade takes responsibility for the Mass, providing them with a meaningful opportunity to engage in our worship.

Additional Opportunities
Students are also encouraged to participate in the altar servers and children’s choir programs offered through the parish, further enriching their spiritual journey and connection to the community.
Our Faith Formation initiative is designed to foster spiritual growth and strengthen Catholic identity among our K-8 students. On Tuesday mornings students gather together for an informal lesson inside the church, where they learn about the fundamentals of Mass, the lives of Saints, and key aspects of Catholic identity. Led by the Pastor and Principal, this initiative focuses on liturgical events and Catholic themes, offering students a deeper understanding of their faith.
The Student Choir opens and closes each gathering with joyful music, helping to create a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere. Students leave each gathering feeling energized and inspired for the day ahead!
Community service is a vital aspect of our faith, and providing opportunities for our students to actively contribute to the broader community is incredibly important. Each year, we organize several school-wide community service projects. In addition, each class is encouraged to complete at least one community service project during the school year.
We are always seeking new ideas for community service opportunities. If you have suggestions or input, please contact our Faith Formation Coordinator, Mary Sexton, at msexton@stbridgetschool.us. Your contributions are invaluable as we continue to strengthen the strong foundation of faith at Saint Bridget School.
